Hello, I’m Annie! (she/her)

I’ve had a voice in my head pulling me towards birth work for years. I thought about the awe I felt when hearing stories of people giving birth, and realized I didn't just have to wait until having children of my own to experience the magic firsthand, I could be a doula - helping guide families through their births and the early days with their newborns.

In 2025, I took the plunge towards a big career shift after nearly a decade working in the corporate tech world. Now, I get to take many of the skills from the phase of my career as a consultant and people manager, and apply them to something so much more purpose/heart-driven - doula work! I love being a woman and am so in awe at all that our bodies can do. In this job, I get to support and empower birthing parents through one of the most transformational events of their life.

Whether you are preparing for your first baby or adding to your growing family, I’ll walk alongside you with compassionate care, hands-on comfort measures, and evidence-based education tailored to your needs. I serve families in Seattle, WA and the surrounding areas.

A Bit More About Me

I have been so grateful to call the beautiful PNW home for the past 5 years! I live here with my girlfriend, Mel, and rescue pup, Sadie. I LOVE living my life here - hiking and trail running, splashing through any natural body of water I can find, making art, gardening in the summer, playing on soccer and kickball teams, cooking and baking for family and friends, and building community. I also love to travel, and got to travel to 5 new countries in 2025! My friends and family would describe me as enthusiastic, creative, intentional, silly, and reliable. I have always loved bringing people together and surrounding myself with love and community.

A Doula for Everyone

As a proud member of the queer community, I believe that families can be made in so many different ways. As a lesbian woman, I know how amazing it feels to work with people who can understand and relate to the queer experience. As a queer doula, I bring my identity into every interaction I have, and I know that my clients do too. I structure my care to give my clients the support they deserve.

If you are a queer-identifying parent or parent-to-be, I’d love to support you as you grow your family! It would be my honor to care for you during this monumental transition period as you bring your baby (or babies!) into this world.

Pricing

I want to ensure that I am fully transparent to my future clients. I am a new doula! I completed my doula training in 2025, and am now in the process of gaining real-world doula experience. I am pricing my services accordingly, offering a sliding-scale pricing model, as well as a number of fully free births this year. Let’s discuss what is financially accessible to you during the consultation visit.

My Values

Reliability

Reliability has always been my #1 personal core value. My friends and family know me as someone who says what they mean, who will arrive when they say they will, and someone who will dependably show up for them. It is so important to me to be a reliable presence during your birth and the periods surrounding it.

Warmth

I get the honor of being a part of one of the most intimate, vulnerable, and transformative days of your life. I will foster an environment of trust and warmth for you and your loved ones. I will be a calming presence in whatever space you find yourself in. I will quiet your worries and replace them with confidence and acceptance for whatever life brings your way.

Inclusivity

As a queer doula, I love working with other families who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to bring care to people in marginalized groups who have been historically harmed by the medical system.
